5 easy ways to create your own Website or Blog

Many people today waste time online trying to create there website. I was a victim of this for years, when I was in secondary school I would save up my feeding money to buy time at the nearest cyber cafe just to surf the internet on how to create a website but this would amount to me create thousands of account on different platforms just to create a website for “free”. Those days my very good friend and I would stay for hours at the cafe creating different account on platforms like
https://www.yooco.org
https://www.wix.com
www.wordpress.com/‎
https://www.blogger.com
and this was a fun experience then because I actually created a bunch of websites you can check some of them out like darkacecom.yooco.org and many more on those listed platforms.
Recently I meet a young lad who wanted to create website, and I saw something in him that was in me when I started which was the passion I had then, so I decided to create this post as a guild to other passionate tech enthusiast like me but want to create a website for “Free”.

1. WordPress www.wordpress.com/
I believe many of us already know WordPress because It is said to be one of the biggest power in to days internet trend. That is very true because WordPress powers so many websites today and it is very easy to use, and also the most important part of this article “FREE” to use but there are some clause which I would leave for another day.

2. Wix https://www.wix.com
This is one of my favorite easy to use platform for building a website because this was the second I used in creating my “free website”. It is easy to use and they have a free and paid plan but with the free you can get your site up and running.

3. Yooco https://www.yooco.org
This was my first stop in my adventure of creating website. it is a bit complicated but when you get a hang of it, it is easy to use. It is my least favorite because there hasn’t been any significant update to the site since I last used it around 4 years ago and also the UI is quite terible.

4. Blogger https://www.blogger.com
This isn’t really for creating websites but is designed for blogs as the name says blogger, but it is really a very easy tool to use and the cool part is that you can make money from it but it is still an discussion for another day.

5. Medium https://medium.com
This is one of my current favorite because it is gives a blog feel at the same time a social media feel. This is also a free platform to use but for blogs not a website.

I would love if you check those site out and drop in the comment of your first site you used in creating your website or any contribution you have.

Hey this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
